In a move aimed at facilitating citizens and ensuring the timely completion of pending registration work, the Government of Chhattisgarh has decided to keep all registration (stamp and document) offices operational even on select holidays during the closing days of the financial year 2025–26.
According to official directives, all registration offices across the state will remain open and function as regular working days on March 22, March 28, March 29, and March 31, 2026. During these dates, all services related to document registration and other associated processes will be available without any restriction.

The decision has been taken to prevent inconvenience to the public and to manage the increased workload typically witnessed at the end of the financial year. Authorities have emphasized that this step will help in the smooth and time-bound disposal of registration-related tasks, which often see a surge due to tax planning and property transactions.
Officials stated that the initiative is part of the government’s citizen-centric approach, ensuring accessibility and efficiency in public services. By extending operations to holidays, the administration aims to reduce last-minute rush and avoid overcrowding at registration offices.
The state government has also appealed to citizens to make the most of this extended facility and complete their pending registration work within the specified dates. This will not only save time but also help in maintaining orderly functioning at the offices during peak demand.
