The Chhattisgarh Assembly has passed ₹573 crore in grants for the Scheduled Caste Development Department for 2026–27. Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb said the government is committed to the upliftment of SC communities, with ₹12,970 crore allocated under the SC Sub-Plan and new schemes focused on education, livelihoods and cultural heritage.
