Pankaj Bandhaw, State President of the Akhil Bharat Anusuchit Jati Parishad, has demanded government jobs for one family member of each Chhattisgarh migrant worker killed in the Kulgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. He also called for stronger security measures for migrant workers and strict action against those responsible for the attack.

Rajnandgaon district has secured a leading position in grievance redressal under the CM Helpline, Collector Jitendra Yadav said while reviewing the weekly progress of government schemes. Rajnandgaon Police have arrested three members of an alleged motorcycle theft gang from Durg district in a joint operation by the Cyber Cell and Mohara Police Outpost. Two stolen motorcycles, reported missing from Rajnandgaon and Dongargarh police station areas, were recovered, and the accused have been remanded to judicial custody.

A one-day workshop on post-harvest management, value addition and entrepreneurship was organised at Pandit Shiv Kumar Shastri Agricultural College and Research Centre, Surgi, on its Foundation Day. The programme focused on equipping farmers, women and rural youth with practical skills in fruit and vegetable processing, packaging, branding and marketing to improve income and create employment opportunities.
