Rajnandgaon Resident Receives Caste Certificate Within a Week Through Seva Setu

State says digital platform is simplifying access to government services, reducing time and costs with over 441 services available online

The state government’s Seva Setu initiative is emerging as an effective platform for delivering administrative services to citizens through a simple, fast and digital system. The platform currently provides access to more than 441 government services through a single online portal.

Yadav Ram Chandrakar, a resident of Mohad village in Rajnandgaon development block, said he had applied for a caste certificate through Seva Setu and received the document within one week.

He described the initiative as a beneficial government scheme that has helped save both time and money, adding that essential public services are now being made available promptly through the digital platform.

Chandrakar also thanked Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for introducing what he described as an important public welfare initiative.

According to the government, citizens previously had to visit multiple government offices to access services offered by different departments. Obtaining basic documents such as certificates often involved significant expenditure of time, effort and financial resources.

The government stated that Seva Setu has transformed this process by providing a one-stop digital solution, enabling citizens to submit applications online and receive services within the prescribed timelines.

It further noted that while the state’s earlier e-District platform offered 86 services, the upgraded Seva Setu platform has expanded this number to 441 government services, reflecting a broader effort to improve digital governance and public service delivery.
