Rajnandgaon’s talented daughter, Sonalika Ruchandani, has brought laurels to the district by securing an important position in the Indian Railways after successfully clearing the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination.

A UPSC Batch-2023 officer, Sonalika Ruchandani has been appointed as Assistant Railway Manager (ARM) in the Shahdol Division of South East Central Railway. She is scheduled to assume charge of her new responsibilities on Monday.

Her appointment is being regarded as a matter of immense pride for Rajnandgaon. As Assistant Railway Manager, she will be responsible for overseeing various railway stations and operational activities falling under the Shahdol Division.

Following her selection through the UPSC Civil Services Examination, Sonalika underwent several specialized training programmes related to railway operations and management.
