Special drive targets no-parking violations and other traffic rule breaches across the city

Rajnandgaon Traffic Police have intensified enforcement against traffic violations as part of a special campaign aimed at making the city’s traffic system safer, smoother and more organised.
The campaign is being conducted under the direction of Superintendent of Police Ankita Sharma, the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Keertan Rathore, and the leadership of Traffic In-charge Inspector Navratan Kashyap.
During the past seven days, traffic police took action against motorists violating no-parking regulations and other traffic rules. A total of 225 vehicles parked in no-parking zones were challaned, while action was taken against 141 other vehicles for violating traffic rules under the Motor Vehicles Act.
Overall, challans were issued against 366 vehicles, and a total compounding fee of ₹1,29,100 was collected.
According to the Traffic Police, the enforcement drive has begun to produce a positive impact across the city. Citizens and members of the business community are actively cooperating with the authorities in complying with traffic regulations.

In particular, motorists in market areas are increasingly parking their vehicles only at designated parking locations and within the marked white lines. This has helped reduce disorderly parking and made traffic movement smoother and more organised than before.
The Traffic Police have appealed to citizens to park their vehicles only in designated parking areas and strictly follow all traffic rules.
Officials said that compliance with traffic regulations not only helps motorists avoid penalties but also contributes significantly to maintaining a safe, smooth and well-organised traffic system in the city.
The Traffic Police have made it clear that strict and continuous action against motorists violating traffic rules will continue in the future.
