BJP Committed to All-Round Development of Ghumka: Kiran Verma

Nagar Panchayat chairperson candidate highlights development roadmap, promises infrastructure expansion and improved civic facilities

Bharatiya Janata Party’s Nagar Panchayat chairperson candidate Kiran Verma has assured voters that the party remains fully committed to the comprehensive development of Ghumka through its election manifesto and proposed civic development initiatives.

According to a statement issued by the BJP media cell, Kiran Verma carried out an extensive public outreach campaign across various parts of Ghumka and interacted directly with local residents and voters.

BJP Highlights Development Commitments

During the campaign, Kiran Verma stated that the BJP has resolved to undertake several development projects aimed at improving infrastructure and public facilities in the area.

She said that a stop dam with a causeway would be constructed on the Sonbarsa River to improve irrigation facilities for farmers and help increase the groundwater level in the region, which has reportedly been declining continuously.

Road Widening and Civic Infrastructure Proposed

The BJP candidate further announced that the road connecting Ghumka and Gopalpur would be widened to improve transportation and public connectivity.

She also promised the construction of a fully equipped and spacious community hall (Mangal Bhavan) for social and religious functions, stating that the facility would benefit all sections of society.

Focus on Sports and Youth Development

Kiran Verma emphasized the need to encourage sports talent among youth and children.

She announced plans for the development of a multipurpose sports ground in the town, which would not only help nurture sporting talent but also provide a space for citizens to use for morning and evening walks.

Improvement of Canal and Cremation Ground Facilities

The BJP candidate also stated that proper repair and long-term maintenance arrangements would be ensured for the Kunwar Jhor diversion canal drainage system to improve local infrastructure and public convenience.

Additionally, she promised road connectivity and waiting area facilities at the cremation ground located on Patewa Road.

Appeal to Voters Ahead of Election

Addressing voters, Kiran Verma urged residents to remember that BJP governments are currently in power at both the Centre and the state level.

She said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, several welfare schemes aimed at uplifting economically weaker sections have been implemented successfully.

According to her, Ghumka is waiting for a new phase of development, and electing BJP representatives would open the doors for accelerated growth in the region.

Large Participation in Public Outreach Campaign

Several BJP women leaders and local workers accompanied Kiran Verma during the public outreach campaign.

Among those present were Mandal Mahila Morcha President Nutan Sahu, General Secretaries Tameshwari Nishad and Sangeeta Yadav, along with Pinky Patel, Phuleshwari Sahu, Jyoti Gaikwad, Pushpa Sahu, Nageshwari Sahu, Laleshwari Sahu, Dhaneshwari Sahu, Damini Sahu, Shanti Nirmalkar, and a large number of local residents and supporters.
