पश्चिम बंगाल के डायमंड हार्बर और फाल्टा क्षेत्र में चुनाव के दौरान लोकतंत्र को शर्मसार करने वाली घटना सामने आई है। यहां मतदान केंद्रों पर भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) के उम्मीदवार के नाम और चुनाव चिन्ह “कमल” के ऊपर बाकायदा टेप चिपकाया गया, जिससे मतदाता भाजपा को वोट ही नहीं दे सकें।

यह कोई तकनीकी गड़बड़ी नहीं, बल्कि सुनियोजित साजिश के तौर पर सामने आया है। हैरानी की बात यह रही कि इस पूरे खेल को अंजाम देने से पहले मतदान केंद्रों के CCTV कैमरे बंद कर दिए गए थे, ताकि सबूत न बच सके।

मौके पर पहुंचे “सिंघम” अजय पाल शर्मा

मामला सामने आते ही चुनाव आयोग के पुलिस ऑब्जर्वर आईपीएस अजय पाल शर्मा खुद मौके पर पहुंचे। सख्त तेवर और त्वरित कार्रवाई के लिए पहचाने जाने वाले शर्मा ने जांच में पाया कि भाजपा के चिन्ह पर टेप लगाए गए थे। मौके पर ही उन्होंने जिम्मेदार लोगों को कड़ी चेतावनी दी और पूरे मामले को गंभीर साजिश मानते हुए रिपोर्ट तैयार की।

अब होगी बड़ी कार्रवाई

सूत्रों के अनुसार, इस मामले में कई पोलिंग कर्मचारियों और संबंधित अधिकारियों की भूमिका संदिग्ध पाई गई है। आने वाले समय में गिरफ्तारी और सस्पेंशन जैसी सख्त कार्रवाई तय मानी जा रही है। जिन बूथों पर गड़बड़ी हुई है, वहां पुनर्मतदान (रिपोल) की भी संभावना जताई जा रही है।

केंद्रीय बलों का विरोध क्यों?

इस घटना के बाद यह सवाल और गहरा गया है कि आखिर पश्चिम बंगाल में केंद्रीय बलों की तैनाती का विरोध क्यों किया जा रहा है। जिस तरह से चुनाव प्रक्रिया में खुली छेड़छाड़ सामने आई है, उसने पूरे सिस्टम पर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं।

निष्कर्ष:

डायमंड हार्बर की यह घटना सिर्फ एक चुनावी गड़बड़ी नहीं, बल्कि लोकतांत्रिक प्रक्रिया पर सीधा हमला है। अब सबकी नजर चुनाव आयोग की अगली कार्रवाई पर टिकी है—क्या दोषियों पर सख्त कार्रवाई होगी या मामला ठंडे बस्ते में जाएगा।
