Under the directions of Collector Mr. Jitendra Yadav, prompt and effective action on applications received during Jan Darshan is now showing visible results on the ground. In this sequence, a long-blocked traditional access (nistar) path in village BuddhuBharda of Dongargaon block has been restored by the Revenue Department, bringing significant relief to villagers.

According to information, in village BuddhuBharda, Yashwant Sahu and Komal Sahu had blocked the traditional pathway passing between agricultural fields by installing cement poles and wires on private land. This path (locally known as dhurasa/field boundary route) is crucial for farmers to access each other’s fields. Its closure not only disrupted movement but also created tension among villagers.

In the presence of revenue officials, the encroachments—cement poles and wires—were removed, restoring the path for regular use.

Following the reopening of the route, a sense of relief and satisfaction has prevailed in the village. Villagers appreciated the swift administrative response, stating that timely resolution of such small disputes helps prevent larger conflicts.

It is being observed that a wide range of cases—both small and major—are brought before the Collector during Jan Darshan. However, special attention is being given to issues related to poor and marginalized sections of society. Matters such as pending wages of laborers, disputes involving encroachment on the land of helpless individuals, or cases where weaker persons are being harassed by influential elements are being taken up with priority.

In several instances, such grievances have not only been heard promptly but also resolved on the spot. This proactive approach reflects a clear intent to ensure justice for those who may not otherwise have the means to approach authorities.

Even relatively small issues, which often remain pending for long periods, are being addressed with urgency. This has significantly strengthened public trust in the administration. People are increasingly appreciating these efforts, as they feel their concerns are being heard and resolved without delay, creating a positive and responsive image of governance at the grassroots level.
