Collector Conducts Field Inspection Amid Summer Heat
Collector Jitendra Yadav visited agricultural fields in Village Kanharpuri of Rajnandgaon development block to inspect the ongoing land demarcation process. Despite the afternoon heat, the Collector reached the site personally, interacted with farmers, listened to their concerns, and issued necessary instructions for resolution.
Due to continuous monitoring by the Collector, the district administration has successfully resolved 150 land demarcation cases within the last week, marking significant progress in revenue administration.

Deadline Set for Pending Cases
Reviewing the progress of the work, the Collector instructed concerned officials and staff to ensure disposal of all pending demarcation cases by April 30 under any circumstances. He directed that demarcation activities be conducted during morning or evening hours to provide relief to farmers from extreme heat conditions.
Officials were also instructed to carry out the process with complete fairness and transparency, ensuring that farmers do not face any inconvenience during the proceedings.

Focus on Timely Disposal of Revenue Applications
During the inspection, the Collector gathered information regarding application status, land area details, and pending cases directly from farmers. He emphasized that both new and old revenue-related applications must be resolved within stipulated timelines.
He further instructed officials to complete demarcation in disputed cases and submit reports to the Tehsildar for necessary administrative action.
Strict Action Against Irregularities
The Collector warned that any instance of illegal demand or inducement by officials would invite strict action. Farmers were encouraged to immediately report such complaints to the administration.
During the inspection, an encroachment case involving government land was also reviewed, and the concerned farmer was directed to remove the encroachment within 15 days.
Farmers Appreciate Transparent Process
Farmer Virendra Chandrakar stated that demarcation of his 2 acre 50 dismil land was conducted transparently after he applied at the Tehsildar office. The measurement was carried out in the presence of revenue officials and neighbouring farmers.

Similarly, land demarcation was completed for two other applicants, Ghanshyam Nirmalkar and Ravi Nirmalkar.
The Collector urged all farmers to follow regulations to avoid disputes and maintain harmony in villages, reiterating that the administration remains committed to assisting farmers at every level.
