In a swift administrative action under the directions of Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav, a long-blocked traditional access path in BuddhuBharda village of Dongargaon block was reopened following a complaint raised during the Jan Darshan program, bringing major relief to local farmers and residents.

Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, every household in Kanhardabri village of Rajnandgaon district now has access to clean tap water, improving health, sanitation, and women’s livelihoods.

Senior BJP leader Jagannath Panigrahi accused the Congress of opposing the Viksit Bharat Guarantee–Rural Employment and Livelihood Mission (VB-G Ramji) by using Mahatma Gandhi’s name as a shield, stating that the party has a history of resisting initiatives linked with “Ram.” BJP leaders said the scheme will strengthen rural livelihoods and eliminate corruption seen in earlier programmes.

On Chhattisgarh Foundation Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually conduct the Grih Pravesh ceremony for more than 4,500 rural beneficiary families in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district under PMAY-Gramin. Beneficiaries will move into their newly-constructed homes in a cultural and festive atmosphere, marking a new chapter of dignity and empowerment.
