In a swift administrative action under the directions of Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav, a long-blocked traditional access path in BuddhuBharda village of Dongargaon block was reopened following a complaint raised during the Jan Darshan program, bringing major relief to local farmers and residents.

Rupakathi village in Rajnandgaon’s Dongargaon block has witnessed a significant improvement in living standards under the Jal Jeevan Mission, with all 107 households now receiving safe drinking water through functional tap connections, easing daily hardships and driving social and economic change.

District Panchayat CEO Suruchi Singh participated in the Swachhata Festival organised in Tilaiwar and Tappa villages of Dongargaon block, leading an awareness rally and addressing villagers on the importance of cleanliness, waste segregation and community participation in keeping rural areas healthy.

During a field inspection in Tilaiwar and Tappa villages, District Panchayat CEO Suruchi Singh urged beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Gramin to immediately begin construction of their pending houses. She directed local officials to ensure timely availability of construction materials and skilled labour.

Villagers Lalaram Sahu and Yogeshwar Kanwar expressed joy and gratitude after receiving their learner's licenses instantly at the Sushasan Tihar grievance redressal camp, part of a government initiative bringing essential services directly to rural communities.
