Congress Protest Against BJP and ED’s Dictatorship

Rajnandgaon (BTI)- The local Congress leaders accusing the central and state governments of oppression and burned effigies of the BJP and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at Jaystambh Chowk today on March 1.

City Congress General Secretary Amit Chandrawanshi stated that the Modi government is misusing the ED at the behest of the BJP to intimidate Congress leaders. However, Congress workers will not back down.

Following the instructions of State Congress President Deepak Baij, the protest was led by District Congress President Kulbir Singh Chhabra and Rural Congress President Bhagwat Sahu. Sahu alleged that the ED is unnecessarily questioning the construction of the Congress Bhavan to harass Congress leaders.

He further questioned the BJP about the source of funds for the state BJP office, asserting that the Congress Bhavan was built with donations from party workers.

Former Minister Dhanesh Patila, PCC General Secretary Shahid Khan, and a large number of Congress leaders and workers participated in the protest. A state-level demonstration was also announced for day after tomorrow March 3.
