Jitendra Yadav Directs Regular Monitoring of Girdawari, Special Health Camps for Children and Effective Efforts to Eliminate Malnutrition

Collector Jitendra Yadav on Tuesday reviewed the progress of various departmental works during the weekly time-limit meeting held at the Collectorate conference hall. He directed all officers and employees to mandatorily mark their attendance on time through the biometric system.
The Collector instructed all departments to ensure the early disposal of pending cases under the e-Office system. He also sought information on the ongoing Girdawari work in the district and stressed that the exercise was important and should be completed without any negligence.
Yadav directed all Tehsildars to regularly monitor the work of surveyors and ensure that the Girdawari exercise was completed in a quality-driven and error-free manner. He also instructed officials to conduct mandatory on-site verification of areas under double-crop cultivation.
The Collector further directed that Aadhaar verification of students studying in all schools be completed on priority.
Focus on Eliminating Malnutrition and Child Health
Reviewing the malnutrition eradication campaign, the Collector directed officials to pay special attention to the health of young children and make effective efforts to bring malnourished children into the nutrition category.
As many as 338 Anganwadi centres in the district have become malnutrition-free. The Collector directed officials to work towards making the remaining Gram Panchayats and Anganwadi centres 100 per cent free from malnutrition.
He also instructed officials to organise a special health camp for children in the district focusing on their health and nutrition. He directed the concerned officials to ensure necessary coordination for organising the special health camp for children with the support of the Sathya Sai organisation and for providing essential health services to children in need.
Regular Monitoring of High-Risk Pregnant Women
While reviewing the Health Department, Collector Yadav directed officials to ensure mandatory screening, timely sonography and treatment of high-risk pregnant women.
He also instructed officials to ensure the availability of essential medicines and conduct daily mobile-based monitoring of the health of high-risk pregnant women.
Reviewing the HPV vaccination campaign, the Collector stated that 7,634 adolescent girls in the district have been vaccinated so far. He directed officials to accelerate the campaign.
He also reviewed the progress of the TB-Free India campaign being implemented in the district.
Solar Rooftop Scheme to Be Accelerated
The Collector reviewed the implementation of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and directed officials to complete scrutiny of applications at the earliest and accelerate the installation of solar panels at the homes of eligible beneficiaries.
He instructed officials to regularly organise Surya Ghar meetings in wards and Gram Panchayats and conduct extensive public awareness campaigns regarding the scheme.
According to the review, solar panels have so far been installed at the homes of 5,465 beneficiaries in the district. The beneficiaries are becoming energy producers while also receiving economic benefits through additional electricity generation.
The Collector directed officials to accelerate the implementation of the scheme so that the maximum number of eligible beneficiaries could benefit from it. He also directed all urban local bodies to speed up the implementation of the Prime Minister SVANidhi Scheme.
Instructions to Improve Animal Monitoring and Street Lighting
The Collector issued necessary directions regarding monitoring of animals and road safety in urban areas.
He directed the Municipal Corporation to inspect lighting arrangements in areas where animals frequently move and immediately repair defective lights.

To ensure continuous monitoring of animals, he instructed the Veterinary Department officer to constitute a team and ensure regular monitoring so that accidents caused by animals on roads could be prevented.
Speed Up Disposal of Revenue Cases
While reviewing the functioning of the Revenue Department, Collector Yadav directed officials to dispose of pending revenue cases within the prescribed time limit.
He instructed officers to regularly review the disposal of cases, reduce the number of pending matters and ensure timely relief to eligible beneficiaries.
The Collector also reviewed cases of illegal encroachment on government land. He directed revenue officials to maintain continuous monitoring and take action as per rules wherever illegal encroachment is found.
He stressed the need for regular inspections and effective action to keep government land free from encroachment.
Fertiliser Availability and Crop Insurance Reviewed
The Collector took information on the availability of fertilisers in the district and directed officials to conduct regular inspections against illegal storage and sale of fertilisers and take strict action.
He also reviewed the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. More than 1.42 lakh hectares of land in the district has so far been covered under the crop insurance scheme.
CEO, Zila Panchayat, Durga Prasad Adhikari, conducted a department-wise review of applications received through CM Jan Darshan, CM Helpline, PG Portal and Collector Jan Darshan.
He directed all heads of departments to ensure that the applications received are disposed of within the prescribed time limit.
Additional Collector C.L. Markandey, Additional Collector Prem Prakash Sharma, Municipal Corporation Commissioner G.R. Markam and district-level officers were present during the meeting.
