Rajnandgaon district has secured a leading position in grievance redressal under the CM Helpline, Collector Jitendra Yadav said while reviewing the weekly progress of government schemes. He directed officials to expedite Agristack claims, ensure adequate availability of fertilisers and seeds for farmers, take strict action against dairy analog products, and accelerate implementation of health and welfare schemes.

Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav reviewed the progress of key government schemes during the weekly time-limit meeting, directing officials to accelerate the implementation of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, HPV vaccination campaign and public grievance redressal. He also called for promoting low-water crops, strengthening nutrition programmes and ensuring timely execution of departmental targets.

As part of Sushasan Tihar 2026, a public grievance redressal camp organized in Patpar Gram Panchayat under Dongargarh Janpad Panchayat witnessed strong public participation. Residents from 13 gram panchayats received on-the-spot assistance, while eligible beneficiaries availed benefits under various government welfare schemes.

On the occasion of National Immunization Day, the Rajnandgaon district administration will launch the HPV vaccination campaign from March 16 at the District Hospital. The initiative aims to protect adolescent girls from cervical cancer.

A one-day workshop on “Menstrual Health and Hygiene” organised by the Women’s Cell of Kamla Devi Rathi Government Women’s Postgraduate College, Rajnandgaon, focused on awareness, disease prevention and breaking social myths related to women’s health.
