Collector Conducts Surprise Inspection of Sundara Patwari Office, Orders Show-Cause Notice Over Poor Revenue Progress

Collector Inspects Sundara Patwari Office, Reviews Pending Revenue Cases

Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav carried out a surprise inspection of the Patwari office in Sundara village on Friday to assess the status of pending revenue matters and implementation of government schemes.

During the inspection, the Collector reviewed pending cases related to undisputed mutation, land demarcation, partition, map partition, and the Swamitva Scheme. He expressed displeasure over the 54% progress in map partition work and directed officials to issue a show-cause notice to the concerned Patwari.

He instructed the revenue staff to raise map partition progress to 75% within one week and expedite the disposal of undisputed mutation and land partition cases through a focused campaign.

100% Agristack Registration Ordered

The Collector directed officials to ensure 100% registration of farmers on the Agristack portal and complete all pending work under the Swamitva Scheme on priority.

He warned that no eligible farmer should be left out of the Agristack registration process and asked officials to continuously monitor the progress.

Concern Over Slow Progress in PM Surya Ghar and PM Awas Schemes

Collector Yadav also reviewed the implementation of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) with the village Sarpanch, Secretary, and Employment Assistant.

He instructed the Panchayat representatives to conduct awareness campaigns and village meetings to encourage maximum participation in the solar rooftop scheme, highlighting its benefits in reducing electricity bills and promoting clean energy.

Reviewing the PMAY implementation, the Collector noted that 32 out of 48 sanctioned houses in Sundara village had been completed.

He instructed officials to speed up construction and ensure that all incomplete and yet-to-be-started houses are completed at the earliest.

Warning Against Negligence in Revenue Matters

The Collector reiterated that inspections of tehsil and Patwari offices will continue to ensure timely disposal of public revenue cases.

He warned that strict action would be taken against officials found negligent in resolving matters affecting farmers and citizens.

Additional Collector C.L. Markandey, SDM Gautam Patil, and other district officials were present during the inspection.
