A district-level workshop organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party at its office in Rajnandgaon on Monday marked the launch of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Mega Campaign, aimed at strengthening organizational capacity from leadership to booth-level workers through technology-driven methods. The four-session programme brought together senior leaders, office bearers, and party workers from across the district, with a strong emphasis on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into political communication, training, and election management.

The workshop began with ceremonial lamp lighting before portraits of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and Syama Prasad Mukherjee, followed by an introductory address by district president Komal Singh Rajput. Speakers underlined that organizational training remains a continuous process essential for ideological clarity, discipline, and effective public outreach.

Addressing the inaugural session, Member of Parliament Santosh Pandey described training as a tool for intellectual and ideological growth of party workers. He elaborated on the concept of “Panch Parivartan,” covering family awareness, swadeshi consciousness, environmental protection, civic duties, and social harmony. The session was chaired by Santosh Agrawal, representing the local legislator.

In the second session, state training head Avdhesh Jain presented the campaign’s roadmap through a detailed PowerPoint presentation, outlining objectives, implementation strategies, and the role of digital tools in modern political organization. The session was chaired by Shatabdi Pandey.

The third session featured Tejpal Sharma, who spoke about innovation in training methodology, highlighting how AI-based applications, social media platforms, and digital tools could empower grassroots workers to respond effectively to emerging national challenges. The concluding session, attended by Mahasamund MP Rupkumari Choudhary, focused on “Curiosity and Solutions,” encouraging workers to actively engage with public concerns while promoting government achievements. The session was chaired by senior BJP leader Khoobchand Parkh.

Choudhary stated that the BJP remains the only political party that places systematic emphasis on cadre training, asserting that a strong organization forms the foundation of nation-building. She called for collective commitment toward the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh and a strong India through discipline, dedication, and ideological clarity.

Several local leaders and office bearers, including Cooperative Bank Chairman Sachin Singh Baghel, Stadium Committee Secretary Ramesh Patel, Tarun Lahrawani, Ravindra Vaishnav, Bunty Lal, Moolchand Lodhi, District Panchayat President Kiran Vaishnav, and Vice President Kiran Sahu, attended the workshop along with representatives from party wings and frontal organizations.

Political Remarks Target Congress

During his address, district president Komal Singh Rajput criticized the Indian National Congress over its alleged protest during a global AI summit, accusing the opposition of attempting to tarnish India’s international image. He claimed that the public present at the venue had strongly opposed the protest and expressed anger over the incident.

Rajput urged party workers to actively communicate the benefits of central and state government schemes — including housing, cooking gas connections, drinking water initiatives, sanitation campaigns, and the Mahtari Vandan Yojana — to citizens at the grassroots level, while also exposing what he described as the opposition’s “anti-national mindset.”

The workshop concluded with a call for coordinated efforts combining ideology, governance achievements, and digital outreach to strengthen the party’s presence ahead of upcoming political challenges.
