New Team Formed Under State Leadership Guidance to Strengthen Organization and Farmer Outreach

The district executive committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha has been officially announced in Rajnandgaon, marking a significant organizational expansion aimed at strengthening outreach among farmers and enhancing grassroots activities.
The appointments were made under the guidance of state BJP president Kiran Dev Singh and state general secretary (organization) Pawan Sai, following directions from state Kisan Morcha president Alok Thakur. The list was issued by district Kisan Morcha president Daduram Sonkar on the recommendation of BJP district president Komal Singh Rajput.
According to the announced structure, Ghasi Sahu and Manish Soni have been appointed as district general secretaries. Anand Sahu, Nivedan Sahu, Shiv Bailer, and Pratiksha Bhandari have been named district vice presidents.
The district secretaries include Shyam Sundar Sahu, Bhoj Ram Verma, Kishor Yadav, Gopi Prasad Deshmukh, and Bharat Singh Rajput. Bhavesh Varu has been assigned the responsibility of treasurer, while Mahesh Sahu has been appointed spokesperson. Satish Yadav will serve as media in-charge, and Ramesh Sonwani has been given the role of social media in-charge.
The Kisan Morcha has also announced presidents and general secretaries for all 16 mandals in the district, along with district executive members, special invitees, and permanent invitees. Additionally, six major project verticals have been constituted to enhance organizational effectiveness and farmer engagement.
Among the project coordinators, O.P. Singh will lead initiatives related to Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) formation, horticulture, and vegetable production. Surendra Srivastava will coordinate projects related to land revenue reforms, solar energy, and biogas. S.K. Singh has been assigned responsibility for cooperative credit, agricultural subsidy schemes, crop insurance, PM Dhan Dhanya initiatives, and agricultural inputs including fertilizers and seeds.

Mahesh Soni will oversee projects related to animal husbandry, dairy production, fisheries, poultry, goat farming, and piggery. Surendra Kumar Ojha has been appointed coordinator for the Viksit Bharat Guarantee Rozgar Aajeevika Mission Rural Project (VB G RAM G), while Hargovind Vijewar will lead initiatives on organic farming, agricultural research, horticulture, and polyhouse development.
District president Daduram Sonkar stated that the newly formed team will work with full dedication to safeguard farmers’ interests, ensure effective implementation of farmer-centric schemes of both the central and state governments, and expand the organization at the grassroots level. He congratulated all newly appointed office bearers and expressed confidence that they would actively promote the party’s ideology and policies among the farming community.
The announcement is being seen as part of the BJP’s broader strategy to consolidate its rural base and strengthen engagement with farmers ahead of upcoming political activities in the state.
