Shadani Seva Mandal’s Bhagwat Katha Draws a Large Gathering on Day Four; Significance of Arpan, Tarpan and Samarpan Highlighted

Pushpanjali Prangan was immersed in the devotional spirit of Lord Krishna on the fourth day of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organised by the Shadani Seva Mandal. The birth celebration of Lord Krishna was observed with enthusiasm and devotion, while a live tableau depicting Krishna’s birth further transformed the venue into a deeply spiritual setting.
Importance of Arpan, Tarpan and Samarpan Explained
Katha Vyas Param Pujya Shri Rishiraj Ji Tripathi explained the significance of Arpan, Tarpan and Samarpan through various episodes from the Bhagwat Katha.
He said the true purpose of human life is realised when an individual performs Tarpan for ancestors, makes an Arpan through service, charity and responsibility towards society and the nation, and completely surrenders oneself to God in the form of a Sadguru.
He further said that the Guru shows human beings the path to cross the ocean of worldly existence.
Vaman Avatar and Krishna Birth Tableau
During the fourth day’s narration, the episode of Vaman Avatar was also presented in an evocative manner.
On the occasion of Shri Krishna Prakatotsav, a live tableau depicting the birth of Lord Krishna became a major attraction. Nandlal Lalwani portrayed Vasudev, while Santosh Kirtan Motlani portrayed Nand and Mata Yashoda. Their performances moved devotees and added to the spiritual atmosphere of the celebration.
‘Sindhu Ramayan’ Presented to Saints
On the occasion, Shri Kishanchand Madhwani presented his self-authored work, ‘Sindhu Ramayan’, written in the Sindhi language, to Sant Yudhishthir Lal Shadani Ji and Pujya Shri Rishiraj Ji Tripathi Ji.
The presentation reflected the continued connection between literature, language, spirituality and the community’s religious traditions.
Devotees Participate in Sacred Rituals
The main Yajman family, Smt. Pooja Andani, Shri Akhil Andani, Chandan, Manya and Priya Andani, performed a sacred ritual for the salvation and welfare of their ancestors.
Devotees including Tulsi Sarita Rajwani, Pawan-Sunita Kukreja of Dallirajhara, Sumit-Kanak Chetwani and Lucky Totwani also participated in the worship and religious rituals.
Sant Yudhishthir Lal Shadani in Special Attendance
The fourth day of the Bhagwat Katha was blessed by the special presence of Sant Dr Yudhishthir Lal Shadani, Peethadhishwar of Shadani Darbar Teerth, Raipur.
Gurumata Deepika Maa, Daya Bhabhi and Sai Udaylal, along with numerous devotees, attended the religious discourse and listened to the Bhagwat Katha.
Devotees of the Shadani tradition arrived in large numbers from Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, Nagpur, Bhopal and Delhi, among other places, to participate in the event and immerse themselves in the devotional narrative of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha.
