District-level review meeting held to assess preparations; administration to reach villages directly from May 1 to June 10

School Education and District In-charge Minister Gajendra Yadav chaired a detailed review meeting at the Collectorate conference hall to assess preparations for the upcoming Sushasan Tihar. He emphasized that complaints and public demands received during the initiative must be resolved in a time-bound and effective manner.
The State Government will organize Sushasan Tihar from May 1 to June 10, 2026, during which administrative teams will directly reach villages to address citizens’ problems on the ground.
Focus on Effective Governance and Public Trust
The In-charge Minister directed officials to ensure well-organized arrangements, particularly keeping in view the possible district visit of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. He urged officers to work in a team spirit so that government welfare schemes reach the last person in society.
He clarified that Sushasan Tihar should not remain limited to collecting applications but must deliver real solutions. Public confidence in governance, he said, increases only when grievances are resolved effectively.
Officials were instructed to adopt a result-oriented approach instead of focusing merely on targets and to conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation of schemes.
Integrated Camps and Revenue Case Disposal
The Minister directed that all departmental representatives remain present at camps organized during the programme. Beneficiary lists of concerned villages should be prepared in advance to facilitate on-the-spot resolution.
Reviewing revenue matters, he instructed quick disposal of pending mutation, demarcation, and partition cases, stressing that citizens should not be forced to make repeated visits to government offices.
He also directed departments to design special plans for scholarships, coaching support, and improvement of academic outcomes. Regular monitoring of residential hostels and interaction with students were also emphasized.
Housing, Ration Distribution and Drinking Water Review
While reviewing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the Minister instructed officials to prepare lists of incomplete houses, land-related issues, and pending cases for immediate resolution so that construction work faces no obstacles.
He also reviewed ration card management and the Public Distribution System, directing officials to ensure timely distribution of food grains to eligible beneficiaries. Camps must provide immediate solutions to ration-related issues.
Considering the ongoing summer season, he instructed authorities to ensure there is no drinking water shortage in any village or ward and to arrange alternative supplies in advance where needed. He appreciated ongoing water conservation efforts and called for their continuation.
Social Welfare, Health Services and Agriculture Focus
Under the Social Welfare Department, pension schemes, distribution of assistive devices to persons with disabilities, and other beneficiary-oriented programmes were reviewed. All pending cases are to be prioritized during Sushasan Tihar.
The Minister directed that normal deliveries and minor accident treatments be handled at Community Health Centres (CHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) to avoid unnecessary referrals. Regular inspections of health facilities and monitoring of patient services were also emphasized.
Special health camps in rural and market areas were instructed for blood pressure and sugar testing of citizens. Infrastructure related to irrigation and drinking water pipelines, tanks, and projects should be prioritized based on actual public demand.
The Agriculture Department was directed to ensure fertilizer availability, promote alternative fertilizers, encourage crop diversification, and motivate farmers toward scientific farming practices, especially low-water crops. Officials were also instructed to ensure survival and protection of planted saplings rather than limiting efforts to plantation drives.
The Animal Husbandry Department was directed to strengthen mobile veterinary services and widely promote toll-free helpline facilities among livestock farmers.
District Administration’s Preparatory Plan
District Collector Jitendra Yadav presented a detailed action plan for organizing Sushasan Tihar. He informed that more than 60 public grievance redressal camps will be conducted across the district, with continuous monitoring by district and block-level officers.
Citizens will be informed about government schemes and provided benefits directly at the camps. Applications received will be resolved as far as possible according to rules during the programme itself.
He also highlighted ongoing initiatives to promote health awareness through Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, including regular yoga camps and lifestyle improvement programmes. Under the HPV vaccination campaign for cervical cancer prevention, more than 1,300 adolescent girls have already been vaccinated in the district.

The meeting was attended by District Panchayat President Kiran Vaishnav, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, Superintendent of Police Ankita Sharma, Divisional Forest Officer Ayush Jain, CEO District Panchayat Suruchi Singh, along with public representatives, district officials, and elected members including Dongargarh Municipal Council Chairman Raman Dongre and others.
