Online applications for subsidised agricultural equipment and irrigation pumps will commence from May 7, providing farmers an opportunity to avail modern farming tools at concessional rates through a digital registration system.

Farmers can submit applications for agricultural implements and irrigation pumps — including diesel and electric pumps as well as drip irrigation systems — through the CHAMPS portal. Applicants will be required to upload essential documents such as Aadhaar card, bank passbook, caste certificate and land ownership documents (Khasra/B-1).

Subsidy Process Initiated for Financial Year 2026–27

The Chhattisgarh State Seed and Agricultural Development Corporation Limited has initiated the subsidy distribution process for agricultural machinery and irrigation equipment under the CHAMPS system for the financial year 2026–27.

Under this initiative, farmers will be able to obtain drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, power-operated agricultural machinery and irrigation pumps at subsidised rates, aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and promoting efficient water usage.

Scheme-Wise Application Schedule Announced

Applications under various government schemes will be accepted as per the following schedule:

  • Under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (Per Drop More Crop), applications for drip and sprinkler irrigation systems will be accepted from May 7, 2026.
  • Applications for irrigation pumps under the Shakambhari Scheme will begin from May 11, 2026.
  • Under the Agricultural Mechanisation Sub-Mission, applications for tractors, harvesters, rotavators and other power-operated agricultural equipment will be accepted from May 15, 2026.

Online Registration Through CHAMPS Portal

Interested farmers can submit their applications online between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the respective dates. For registration and submission, farmers must visit the official CHAMPS portal:
