District-Level Officers Conduct Special Field Inspections to Ensure Effective Implementation of Government Schemes in Rajnandgaon

Officials review ground realities of health services, hostels, Anganwadi centres and infrastructure works following Collector’s directive.

Following the directives of Jitendra Yadav, district-level officers carried out special field inspections across Rajnandgaon to ensure effective implementation of government schemes, improve administrative arrangements and bring development programs to the grassroots level.

Officials from various departments visited areas related to their respective sectors to assess the ground situation of government initiatives. The objective of the inspection was to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the last mile beneficiaries effectively. During the visits, officers also issued necessary instructions to field staff to address shortcomings and improve service delivery.

Review of Health Services

During the inspection, officers visited health institutions to assess the availability and quality of healthcare services. They reviewed facilities provided to patients, the availability of medicines and overall hospital management.

Officials emphasized the need to provide better healthcare services to patients and directed concerned staff to maintain proper arrangements in hospitals and healthcare centres.

Inspection of Infrastructure Works

The officers also inspected ongoing construction works and roads to evaluate their progress and quality. Necessary instructions were issued to ensure that development works are completed within the stipulated time and with proper standards.

Facilities in Hostels Reviewed

As part of the inspection drive, district officials also visited student hostels to review the facilities available to students residing there. They examined arrangements related to food, sanitation, drinking water and health facilities.

Officials instructed hostel authorities to maintain cleanliness, ensure proper nutrition and provide a safe and supportive environment for students.

Focus on Anganwadi Centres and Child Welfare

Special attention was also given to the activities of the Women and Child Development Department. Officers inspected several Anganwadi centres to review the distribution of supplementary nutrition to children, pre-school activities and other facilities available at the centres.

They also assessed services being provided to pregnant women and mothers and reviewed the implementation of various welfare schemes being run through the department.

Door-to-Door Health Checkups in Villages

Doctors from Ayushman Arogya Mandir conducted home visits in rural areas, carrying out health checkups of residents and providing necessary medical advice and treatment.

During these visits, special attention was given to elderly citizens, pregnant women and other patients. Required medicines were also distributed where necessary.

In addition, officials inspected various field offices of different departments to assess the implementation status of government schemes and ensure better coordination for delivering services to the public.
