Collector Holds Meeting with Readers from District Court to Naib Tehsildar Courts; Directs Speedy Disposal of Cases

In an innovative step aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency in administrative functioning, the district administration has decided to conduct regular reviews of the functioning of court readers associated with judicial proceedings. Collector Shri Jitendra Yadav chaired a meeting of readers from the District Court to Naib Tehsildar courts at the Collectorate meeting hall today and issued necessary directions for the speedy disposal of pending cases.
Emphasis on Timely Disposal of Pending Cases
The Collector stated that ensuring early resolution of pending court cases is extremely important. He directed readers not to keep cases pending unnecessarily and instructed them to fix shorter hearing dates wherever possible so that cases can be disposed of quickly.
He further emphasized that orders in every case should be passed in a time-bound manner after hearing all parties and examining facts and available evidence thoroughly.
Transparency and Accountability in Judicial Processes
Collector Shri Yadav instructed officials to ensure transparency and accountability in judicial proceedings and stressed the need for monitoring work at every level. He directed regular review of pending cases in courts to ensure steady progress and timely delivery of justice to citizens.
Citizen-Friendly Approach in Tehsil Offices
The Collector also instructed officials to maintain courteous behaviour with citizens visiting tehsil offices. He said that public grievances should be heard seriously and proper guidance must be provided to people approaching government offices for assistance.
Recognition for Outstanding Performance
The Collector informed that readers and employees demonstrating excellent performance in judicial work will be honoured in the future as part of efforts to encourage efficiency and accountability.

The meeting was attended by Additional Collector Shri C.L. Markandey, Additional Collector Shri Prem Prakash Sharma, readers from various courts, and concerned officials.
