A Smoother Journey to School

Sadhana Sahu, a Class IX student of Padumlal Punnalal Bakshi Government Excellence English and Hindi Medium School, Rajnandgaon, said she received a bicycle under the scheme, making her daily journey to school significantly easier.

A resident of Ward No. 1, Bajrangpur Navagaon, Sadhana explained that before receiving the bicycle, she had to wait for an auto-rickshaw or rely on other modes of transport, often making it difficult to reach school on time.

With the bicycle now available, she said she would be able to attend school punctually every day and devote more time and attention to her studies.

Students Welcome the Initiative

Another Class IX student of the same school, Pooja Bhimnani, also received a bicycle under the scheme. She described the initiative as an important step towards encouraging girls’ education, saying that easier transportation would help her attend classes regularly and continue her studies without interruption.

Students Khushboo Sahu and Lata Sahu have also benefited from the Free Saraswati Bicycle Scheme.

Expressing their gratitude to the government, the students said the initiative not only supports their education but also inspires them to become more independent and self-confident.
