Directs Banks to Ensure Timely Credit Support for Eligible Beneficiaries

Review of Banking and Government Scheme Performance

Collector Shri Jitendra Yadav chaired a meeting of the District-Level Consultative Committee and District-Level Review Committee for the March Quarter 2026 at the Collectorate Conference Hall.

During the meeting, the Collector directed officials and banking institutions to ensure progress in line with targets set under various banking and government schemes. He also emphasized the need to provide timely loans to eligible beneficiaries.

Emphasis on Better Coordination

The Collector stated that improved coordination between banks and government departments is essential to ensure that the benefits of public welfare schemes reach the maximum number of beneficiaries.

He also sought information from the Lead District Manager (LDM) regarding the proposed PM Svanidhi Mahotsav and Khet Bachao Abhiyan scheduled for the month of June.

Review of Key Welfare and Credit-Linked Schemes

The meeting reviewed the progress of several important schemes, including:

  • Prime Minister Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana
  • Self-Help Group (SHG) Bank Credit Linkage
  • PM Svanidhi
  • Kisan Credit Card (Fisheries)
  • KCC for Animal Husbandry
  • Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP)
  • Prime Minister Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME)
  • PM Ajay Yojana

The Collector instructed all concerned agencies to ensure effective implementation and achievement of scheme targets.

The meeting was attended by District Panchayat CEO Ms. Suruchi Singh, NABARD District Development Manager Shri Manoj Nayak, Lead District Manager Rajnandgaon and In-Charge Director RSETI Shri Munish Sharma, Shri Amit Mishra, along with officials from various banks and government departments.
