Villagers from Remote Areas Appreciate Photo Exhibition Showcasing 25 Years of Progress and Welfare Initiatives

A grand three-day celebration of Rajyotsav 2025 was organized at Sarveshwar Das Municipal Higher Secondary School ground, Rajnandgaon, marking 25 years of the formation of Chhattisgarh state. As part of the Silver Jubilee Statehood Festival, the Public Relations Department set up a special exhibition showcasing the state’s remarkable journey of development and public welfare works over the past 25 years.

The Public Relations Department stall attracted a large crowd, including villagers from distant areas, students, youth, women, and senior citizens. Visitors keenly observed the photo exhibition depicting various state welfare schemes and development activities. Along with providing information on government initiatives, free copies of Chhattisgarh Janman magazine, the brochure Innovations for Good Governance in Chhattisgarh, and the publication Steps Towards Developed India were distributed to the public.

Residents from remote villages, including Mr. Manoj Shukla from Chikhli, Mr. Hemlal Sahu from Tedesa, and Mr. Prem Goswami from Dongargaon, praised the exhibition, stating that it provided clear and useful information regarding government welfare schemes and district-level development works. Students also appreciated the free publications, noting that Janman magazine and the Steps Towards Developed India brochure were highly beneficial for competitive exam preparation due to their detailed coverage of government policies and reforms.
The publication Steps Towards Developed India – Chhattisgarh highlighted various achievements under the state and central government, including Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, agricultural support measures, welfare for women, tribal and youth welfare, administrative reforms, smart registration systems, Jal Jeevan Mission, expansion of health and education facilities, road and railway development, air connectivity improvement, forest welfare, industrial growth, tourism promotion, anti-naxal development initiatives, and the Developed India 2047 Vision Document.

Additionally, the brochure Good Governance Innovations in Chhattisgarh detailed major governance reforms and innovative service models implemented to strengthen administrative efficiency and public service delivery. The monthly magazine Janman, published by the Public Relations Department, was also distributed free to attendees.
