Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Chairman Neelu Sharma reviewed public grievances during a Jan Darshan programme in Rajnandgaon and directed officials to ensure prompt action. He said the initiative aims to accelerate grievance redressal while ensuring government welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary.

Under Su-Shasan Tihar 2026, a public grievance redressal camp in Rajnandgaon enabled Mohad Ward resident Ghanshyam Das Sahu to obtain a free learning driving licence at his doorstep. The initiative is helping citizens access government services and welfare schemes more conveniently through localized service delivery.

A health camp organized under Sushasan Tihar 2026 in Rewadih Ward of Rajnandgaon provided timely medical assistance to local resident Nayan Bai. Through the initiative, she received a free health check-up, consultation from doctors, and essential medicines, highlighting the benefits of doorstep public healthcare services.

A district-level training programme on CM Helpline 1076 was held in Rajnandgaon to strengthen grievance redressal and citizen services. Collector Jitendra Yadav said the helpline will serve as a powerful feedback and accountability mechanism for government schemes and public service delivery.

At the Rajyotsav 2025 Silver Jubilee celebration in Rajnandgaon, the Public Relations Department’s photo exhibition and free publication distribution received strong appreciation from visitors, highlighting 25 years of Chhattisgarh’s development and welfare initiatives.

The Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation has rolled out ward-level pension distribution camps from September 29 to November 14, 2025. The initiative, covering social security pensions for June–August, is aimed at providing convenience to senior citizens and other vulnerable beneficiaries. Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma assured that no pensioner would be left out.

Addressing issues from six urban wards, the camp offered immediate redressal of public grievances, distribution of welfare materials, and ensured government services reached citizens at the grassroots level.
