The state-level competition brought together around 100 athletes from nine districts of Chhattisgarh. Participants competed across four categories, including hearing impaired, deaf and mute, visually impaired and orthopedically impaired athletes.

Five Medals for Rajnandgaon’s Aastha School

The students of Aastha Deaf and Mute School dominated the deaf and mute category, winning five of the six medals available.

In the Under-17 boys’ category, Aman Bhandari won the gold medal, while Lucky Markam secured silver and Priyanshu Yadav won bronze.

In the Under-17 girls’ category, Palak Deshlahare won the silver medal and Manvi Mandavi secured bronze.

Dedicated Training Behind the Success

The students have been receiving regular training under the guidance of instructors Kishore Maheshwari, Shruti Tamrakar and Prem Sahu of Yogshala Yoga Institute.
