District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Ms. Suruchi Singh carried out an inspection of Tilaiwar and Tappa villages under Dongargaon development block on Friday, focusing primarily on the progress of housing units sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Gramin (PMAY-G).
During the visit, the CEO interacted with beneficiaries whose allotted houses had not yet been initiated. She urged them to begin construction at the earliest and assured them of full administrative support throughout the process.
Instructions to Ensure Material and Labour Availability
Ms. Singh directed the village sarpanch and secretary to extend all possible assistance to beneficiaries, particularly in arranging essential construction materials and the availability of masons. She emphasised that the delay in commencement should be addressed through coordinated efforts at the village level.
Orientation Through Community Meetings
To accelerate progress on incomplete houses, the CEO instructed officials to organise chaupal meetings in the villages. These community-level interactions aim to create awareness, clarify procedures, and motivate beneficiaries to complete the construction within the stipulated timeframe.
