Students and faculty join nationwide collective singing after Prime Minister’s live address

The campus of Sanskar City College of Education, Thakurtola, resonated with patriotic spirit on Friday as the institution observed the 150th anniversary of the iconic national song Vande Mataram. The event was organized in sync with a nationwide program televised live on Doordarshan, during which Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the country and encouraged citizens to participate in the collective singing of the national song.
The live broadcast took place between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Following the Prime Minister’s inspirational message, the stirring melody of Vande Mataram filled the college premises. Teachers, faculty members, and student trainees stood together, singing in unison and expressing their deep sense of pride and love for the nation. The atmosphere was charged with emotion, unity, and reverence for India’s cultural heritage.
