In a decisive and hard-hitting speech delivered in the Parliament Committee Room, Shivsena leader and Member of Parliament Dr. Shrikant Eknath Shinde strongly denounced terrorism and asserted a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any form of extremism. Addressing a gathering that included the Speaker of the Parliament, key committee chairpersons, and fellow MPs, Dr. Shinde emphasized that any act of terror, particularly those committed under the guise of religion, is deeply unacceptable and a threat to the nation’s unity.

Dr. Shinde’s remarks came during a special session organized to discuss internal security and rising global threats. He made it clear that terrorism, regardless of its origin, must be dealt with through uncompromising measures and bipartisan unity. “Terrorism is not just an attack on human lives but an assault on our democratic values and national integrity. We must rise above political differences and work together to defeat this evil,” he said.

He further stressed that no religion promotes violence, and using faith as a justification for acts of terror is both misleading and dangerous. “Acts of terrorism in the name of any religion should be condemned without hesitation. The nation expects clarity, not confusion, from its leaders on such issues,” Dr. Shinde added.

His address received widespread praise from across party lines and was appreciated by many for its clarity and urgency. Several MPs nodded in agreement as he highlighted the need for stronger security frameworks, intelligence coordination, and public awareness to prevent radicalization.

Political analysts noted that Dr. Shinde’s speech not only reinforced Shivsena’s tough stance on national security but also signaled a broader call for a united front in the fight against terrorism. Social media platforms were abuzz with support for his remarks, with many users hailing his stand as “bold,” “timely,” and “essential in today’s fractured global climate.”

As terrorism continues to pose a serious challenge across the world, leaders like Dr. Shrikant Shinde are being seen as voices of reason and resolve in Indian politics. His speech is expected to reignite policy-level discussions on counter-terrorism strategies in upcoming parliamentary sessions.
