Union Agriculture Minister Attends Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj’s Second Samadhi Memorial Ceremony at Chandragiri Tirthkshetra, Dongargarh

Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited Chandragiri Tirthkshetra in Dongargarh on Monday to attend the Second Samadhi Memorial Mahotsav of Sant Shiromani Acharya Shri 108 Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj at the Vidyasagaroday Samadhi Sthal.

The spiritually significant programme witnessed the participation of several dignitaries, administrative officials, and devotees from across the region. During the event, Rajnandgaon Collector Shri Jitendra Yadav presented the Union Minister with a book on the history of Chhattisgarh, while Superintendent of Police Smt Ankita Sharma gifted him a coffee-table book showcasing Chhattisgarh Tourism.

The presentation symbolised the district administration’s effort to promote Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage, historical legacy, and tourism potential at the national level. The Union Minister appreciated the gesture and acknowledged the state’s spiritual traditions and diverse cultural identity.

Senior officials, local representatives, and members of the Jain community were also present during the event, which concluded with collective prayers and commemorative activities.

Life-Support Devices Camp Organised for Senior Citizens Across Rajnandgaon
