Rajnandgaon Daughter Creates History, Honoured on Republic Day

RSDKS Government Medical College’s first PG doctor to receive district-level honour on Republic Day, bringing pride to Rajnandgaon

Rajnandgaon has once again found a reason to feel proud. Dr. Nidhisha Shrivastava, a resident of Rajnandgaon and daughter of Shri J. Narayan Shrivastava, retired Executive Engineer of Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation, has achieved a rare and historic honour in the field of medical service.

Dr. Nidhisha Shrivastava, currently Postgraduate (Second Year) student in the Department of Surgery at R.S.D.K.S. Government Medical College & Associated Hospital, Ambikapur, has been included in the Honour List of the District Administration, Surguja, for felicitation on the occasion of the upcoming National Festival – Republic Day.

With this achievement, Dr. Nidhisha will have the distinct honour of being the first Postgraduate (PG) doctor from R.S.D.K.S. Government Medical College, Ambikapur, to be formally honoured by the District Administration on a national occasion—marking a milestone for the institution as well.
