The Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) at the Government Hospital in Dongargarh has helped 71 out of 84 severely malnourished children recover through specialised treatment and nutritional care. The initiative is being implemented through the joint efforts of the Health Department and the Women and Child Development Department under the guidance of the district administration.

G.R. Markam has assumed charge as the new Commissioner of the Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation. A 2014-batch Chhattisgarh State Administrative Service officer, he previously served as Additional Collector of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki and has earlier held the posts of Tehsildar in Rajnandgaon and SDM in Dongargarh.

A Public Grievance Redressal Camp held under Good Governance Festival 2026 in Sivnikala received 1,488 applications. Beneficiaries were provided ration cards, housing keys, KCC loans, Ujjwala gas connections, Ayushman cards, and other welfare benefits during the event.
