Collector Reviews Low-Performing Schools After Half-Yearly Exams in Rajnandgaon

Jitendra Yadav visits Bori and Bhedikala higher secondary schools; urges students and teachers to intensify academic efforts ahead of board exams

In an effort to assess and improve the quality of education in rural areas, Rajnandgaon Collector Shri Jitendra Yadav visited Higher Secondary School Bori and Higher Secondary School Bhedikala under Rajnandgaon development block. The inspection followed concerns over comparatively low performance in the recent half-yearly examinations.

During his interaction with students, the Collector encouraged them to approach studies with confidence and discipline. He described learning as a manageable and achievable task, emphasizing that with strong willpower and focused attention, even difficult subjects can become easier. Stressing the importance of education in shaping one’s future and bringing positive change in society, he advised students to revise their syllabus thoroughly and practice questions repeatedly to ensure success.

Shri Yadav highlighted the need to give special attention to subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and English. He reminded students that failure is often a stepping stone to success and urged them to seek help from teachers or online resources whenever concepts are unclear. He also underlined the importance of studying regularly at home and maintaining consistency through continuous practice.

Addressing teachers, the Collector directed them to work with renewed dedication and ensure that students regularly practice previous years’ question papers to strengthen their exam preparedness.

Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Ms. Suruchi Singh also addressed the students, stating that sustained hard work is essential for achieving good results in board examinations. She advised students to repeatedly practice past question papers, remain fearless in life, and avoid excessive use of mobile phones to stay focused on their studies.

The visit was attended by DMC Shri Satish Byouhare, CEO Janpad Panchayat Shri Manish Sahu, Shri Faiz Memon, and other officials.
