Senior citizen and retired engineer Ramratan Sinha passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, leaving behind a wave of grief across Rajnandgaon.

He was the father of Ravi Sinha, President of the Janbhagidari Committee of Government Shivnath Science College and Ward Councillor.

Condolences Pour In from Across Social and Public Life

Ramratan Sinha is survived by his sons Rakesh Sinha and Ravi Sinha, two daughters, and other family members.

Following the news of his demise, condolences poured in from across the social, political and academic communities. Public representatives, social workers, educationists and well-wishers visited the bereaved family to pay their respects and express heartfelt sympathies.

Final Rites Performed at Lakholi Crematorium

The funeral procession commenced at 5:00 pm on Thursday from the family’s residence at Hira Moti Line, Rajnandgaon, and proceeded to the Lakholi crematorium, where the last rites were performed with traditional religious rituals.

Family members, relatives, friends, public representatives, office-bearers of social organisations and a large number of local residents attended the funeral procession and paid their final respects.

Those present offered prayers for the departed soul and conveyed their condolences, praying for strength and courage for the bereaved family during this difficult time.
