Reviews progress of development works and government schemes; directs officials to ensure quality and timely implementation

Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Panchayat, Durga Prasad Adhikari, visited the gram panchayats of Tumdibod, Machanpar, Diwanbhedi and Odarb and under Janpad Panchayat Dongargaon to inspect the progress of various government schemes and development works.
During the visit, he directed the concerned officials to ensure the quality, transparency and timely implementation of all government schemes and development projects.
At Tumdibod Gram Panchayat, the Zila Panchayat CEO inspected the under-construction Atal Samrasta Bhawan and Atal Digital Suvidha Kendra. He reviewed the progress of tax collection in the gram panchayat and sought details from the secretary regarding the figures recorded on the online portal.
He also interacted with the sarpanch and beneficiaries to gather information about the benefits being received under various welfare schemes, including the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
The CEO also inspected a government school and an Anganwadi centre, reviewing student attendance and the nutritional food being provided to children.

At Machanpar Gram Panchayat, he inspected the Anganwadi centre and reviewed the facilities and arrangements available for children. He issued necessary directions to the concerned officials for further improvement.
At Odarb Gram Panchayat, CEO Durga Prasad Adhikari inspected the site selected for the proposed VNM and discussed the proposed work with the sarpanch.
At Diwanbhedi Gram Panchayat, he inspected the injection well constructed at the percolation tank. He also reviewed nearly 6,000 contour trenches constructed for water and soil conservation on the hills of Diwanbhedi, Margaon and Girgaon.
The CEO directed the concerned officials to ensure regular maintenance and effective utilisation of these water and soil conservation structures.
During the inspection, Janpad Panchayat Dongargaon CEO Roshni Bhagat Toppo, SDO (RES) Shrikant Dewangan, officials and employees of the concerned departments, as well as a large number of villagers, were present.
