Seven-Day Programme Provides Practical Guidance on Making Cow-Based Indigenous Products

A training programme on the manufacturing of Panchgavya-based indigenous products was successfully conducted by the Maharshi Vagbhatt Gau Sanvardhan Evam Anusandhan Sansthan, Rajnandgaon.
The training programme was organised from September 27 to October 3, 2026, at the Panchgavya Vidyapeetham Extension Centre in Basantpur, Rajnandgaon.
Participants Receive Practical Training
During the programme, Gavyasiddha Dr. Dileshwar Sahu provided participants with information on Panchgavya and the methods used to prepare various indigenous products.

The training included practical demonstrations on the preparation of several Panchgavya-based products, including gomaya cakes, ash, incense, lamps, Panchgavya soap, Gomutra Ark, Gomutra Ghanvati and Panchgavya bathing powder.
Participants were introduced to the processes involved in preparing these products through practical training.
17 Participants Take Part
A total of 17 participants took part in the training programme.
The objective of the programme was to provide participants with information about various indigenous products that can be prepared using Panchgavya and to familiarise them with simple and practical methods for manufacturing these products.
