692 Applications Received from 17 Gram Panchayats; Beneficiaries Avail Government Scheme Benefits

Under the Sushasan Tihar 2026 initiative, a Public Grievance Redressal Camp was organized on May 4, 2026, at Gram Panchayat Bhandarpur under Chhuria Janpad Panchayat.
Participation of 17 Gram Panchayats
The camp was conducted by including a total of 17 Gram Panchayats of the Bhandarpur cluster, namely Bhandarpur, Boirdih, Ghoghare, Halekosa, Jarhamahka, Jhithratola, Kallutola, Lalutola, Magardhokhra, Maharajpur, Nagarkohra, Pinkapar, Purramtola, Rampur, Rangitola, Shikarimahka and Shikaritola.
23 Departments Participate in the Camp
A total of 23 government departments participated in the camp, including Panchayat and Rural Development, Agriculture, Women and Child Development, Revenue, Food, Health, Education, Social Justice, Electricity, Forest, Labour and Animal Husbandry departments.
The objective of the camp was to ensure prompt, effective and transparent disposal of public demands and complaints through departmental stalls.

692 Applications Received
During the camp, villagers submitted a total of 692 applications related to departmental demands and grievances. Among these, 689 applications were related to demands while 3 were complaints.
Authorities informed that action for disposal of the received applications is underway and applicants will be informed after resolution.
Distribution of Benefits Under Government Schemes
Eligible beneficiaries were provided benefits under various government schemes during the camp. These included issuance of new job cards under MGNREGA, congratulatory certificates for completion of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, new ration cards, approval letters for social security pensions and sanitation kits distributed to Swachhagrahis under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
Additionally, fishing nets, ice boxes and certificates of appreciation were distributed to meritorious students of the development block.
The Women and Child Development Department also organized Godh Bharai and Annaprashan ceremonies during the camp.
Public Representatives and Officials Present
The camp was attended by District Panchayat President Mrs Kiran Vaishnav, Janpad Panchayat President Mr Sanjay Sinha, District Panchayat Member Mr Gopal Singh Bhuarya, Mrs Anita Mandavi and Mrs Biram Mandavi, along with Janpad Panchayat Members Mrs Chuniya Kanwar, Mrs Bheshbai Sahu, Mr Palani Swamy Naidu and other public representatives.
Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Dongargaon Mr Shrikant Korram, Chhuria Tehsildar Mrs Akanksha Sahu, Chief Executive Officer Janpad Panchayat Chhuria Mr Horilal Sahu, Sarpanchs, Panch members, officials and a large number of villagers were also present on the occasion.
