The Su-Shasan Tihar 2025 (Good Governance Festival) continues to make impactful strides across Chhattisgarh, bringing timely solutions to public issues through proactive governance. In Rajnandgaon district, a strong example of responsive administration was witnessed when Smt. Bharti Dewangan, a resident of Sheetla Mata Ward under Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation, received her Shramik (labour) card immediately after applying.

Her application was submitted under the Chhattisgarh Bhawan evam Anya Sannirman Karmakar Kalyan Mandal through the Labour Department office in Rajnandgaon. Recognizing the urgency and need, the department acted promptly, completing her registration and issuing the labour card on the spot.

Expressing her gratitude, Smt. Dewangan said the card would enable her to avail multiple welfare benefits offered under government labour schemes. She praised the Su-Shasan Tihar as a significant step by the government towards transparent and responsive administration.

The initiative also helped revive cancelled labour card registrations in the case of Smt. Shunni Bai and Shri Tikam Singh Sevta. Due to technical duplication, their previously issued Shramik cards were rendered invalid. However, following the verification of Aadhaar details, the Labour Department resolved the issue and reinstated their registrations under the welfare board.

Both beneficiaries extended their thanks to the state government and district administration, acknowledging the speedy and effective redressal of their concerns. They now stand eligible to reapply for various labour welfare schemes as per the eligibility criteria.

In another notable case, Smt. Sangeeta Sahu approached the department seeking a scholarship for her child under the labour welfare board’s scheme. Upon submission of the required documentation, the Labour Office invited her to provide the necessary certificate of enrollment for the upcoming academic session 2025–26. The application was processed smoothly, and she was assured that the scholarship benefits would be granted upon timely application for the session.

These cases represent the core aim of Su-Shasan Tihar 2025 — reaching out to the common people, understanding their issues, and resolving them with efficiency, dignity, and empathy.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s vision of transparent governance and citizen-first service delivery is being actively implemented through this campaign. The district administration of Rajnandgaon continues to play a pivotal role in realizing this vision by addressing grassroots-level concerns swiftly and effectively.

As Su-Shasan Tihar progresses, more such stories of timely interventions and restored public trust in governance are expected to emerge, marking a new chapter of accountable administration in Chhattisgarh.
