District President of the Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha, Daduram Sonkar, has welcomed the release of the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing it as a major victory and financial support for the country’s farmers.
In a statement issued on Friday, Sonkar said the day marks a moment of celebration for farmers across the country. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transferred more than ₹18,000 crore directly into the bank accounts of over 9 crore farmers with a single click from Guwahati. This reflects the government’s strong commitment toward the welfare of farmers,” he said.
He further stated that more than 24.71 lakh farmers in Chhattisgarh have also received the installment under the scheme, calling it clear evidence of the government’s farmer-friendly policies.
‘Modi’s Guarantee Means Every Promise Fulfilled’
Sonkar emphasized that the phrase “Modi ki Guarantee” represents the assurance that every promise made to the people will be fulfilled. According to him, the continued financial assistance under the PM-Kisan scheme has strengthened the confidence of farmers and provided them with timely support for agricultural activities.

He also highlighted the role of the state government led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, saying that the “double-engine government” of the Centre and the state is working together to improve the economic condition of farmers in Chhattisgarh.
Support for Agriculture Through Welfare Schemes
Sonkar added that after the announcement of the Krishak Unnati Yojana in the state budget, the latest installment of PM-Kisan will further support farmers in their agricultural activities. He described the financial assistance as a milestone that will help farmers manage expenses related to seeds, fertilizers, and other farming operations.
The statement was shared by Satish Yadav, District Media In-charge of the BJP Kisan Morcha.
Officials say the PM-Kisan scheme continues to be one of the largest direct benefit transfer initiatives in India, providing financial assistance to farmers across the country to support agricultural livelihoods.
