Rajput further stated that the Chief Minister has also instructed concerned officials to ensure adequate arrangements for gunny bags and labourers (hamals), so that farmers do not face any inconvenience at procurement centres.

He added that this decision clearly reflects the state government’s sensitivity towards farmers and its commitment to ensuring the safe, smooth and timely sale of agricultural produce.

According to Rajput, the move has been widely welcomed by farmers and stakeholders across the district, who see it as a positive step towards strengthening trust between the farming community and the government.
