Sevak Ram revealed that for many years he wished to build a new house, and this year’s paddy sales would finally enable him to achieve that. He also shared that last year’s income allowed him to purchase additional farmland and invest in improved agricultural practices. As a result, he achieved a strong yield and expects substantial profit.

He currently owns 60 acres of agricultural land and used the ‘Token Tunhar Hath’ mobile app to generate an online token from home. “Digital facilities have brought great relief,” he added.

Farmers Benefiting from Transparency and Ease of Procurement

He noted that farmers are increasingly adopting modern and technical farming methods thanks to timely MSP procurement and government support. Adequate seeds, fertilisers, and credit are being provided through cooperative societies, which has enhanced productivity across the district.

At the Dhaba Procurement Centre, processes including moisture testing, availability of gunny bags, paddy filling, weighing, and receipt generation were completed smoothly and on time. Sevak Ram expressed satisfaction with the transparency and efficiency at the centre.

He extended gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for implementing policies that have empowered farmers and improved their quality of life.
