Major Success for Rajnandgaon Police in Operation Muskaan

44 Missing Persons Rescued in a Month: 4 Boys, 21 Girls, 12 Women, and 7 Men

Rajnandgaon (BTI)– Rajnandgaon police have achieved remarkable success under Operation Muskaan, rescuing a total of 44 missing persons within a month. The rescued individuals include 4 boys, 21 girls, 12 women, and 7 men. Families of the missing individuals have expressed their gratitude to the police for their relentless efforts.

Rescue Operations Across Multiple States
Under the directives of Inspector General Deepak Kumar Jha and supervision of Superintendent of Police Mohit Garg, Rajnandgaon police teams were dispatched to various locations, including Rajasthan, Maharashtra (Bhandara, Nagpur), Madhya Pradesh (Jabalpur), Telangana (Hyderabad), and different districts of Chhattisgarh. The missing persons were successfully traced and reunited with their families.

Changing Social Dynamics and Rising Missing Persons Cases
The rising cases of missing persons have become a serious concern, attributed to evolving social dynamics and crime patterns. Rajnandgaon police launched a proactive initiative under Operation Muskaan, showing commendable dedication in locating and rescuing missing individuals.

Key Police Operations and Notable Cases
Basantpur Police Station
A minor girl, who left home for a garden and never returned, was traced using CCTV footage. She was seen heading towards Rajnandgaon railway station. With the help of railway police, she was located at Kota Railway Station (Rajasthan) and safely reunited with her mother.

Gaindatola Police Station
A minor girl, whose sister was already married and living in Delhi, was traced using mobile number analysis. Her mobile was found active in Andhra Pradesh, leading the police to rescue her from Hyderabad (Telangana).

Mohara Outpost
A minor girl, missing for several days, was found in Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) based on an informant’s tip-off. She revealed that Sagar Manikpuri alias Swaroop Das from Kabir Nagar, Raipur, lured her into a relationship under false promises of marriage. The accused was arrested in Raipur and sent to jail.

Operation Muskaan’s Impact
In the past month alone, 25 kidnapped minors (4 boys and 21 girls) were safely recovered and reunited with their families, bringing immense relief to their loved ones. Additionally, 12 women and 7 men were found and returned to their families, spreading joy and gratitude among them.

Rajnandgaon police continue to work tirelessly under Operation Muskaan, ensuring that missing individuals are located and safely brought back home.
