At present, the state is procuring approximately 3 lakh metric tonnes of paddy every day, reflecting the scale and efficiency of the ongoing procurement operation. The government maintains that the initiative aims not only to ensure fair prices for farmers but also to strengthen rural livelihoods by guaranteeing prompt payments and transparent procurement mechanisms.
