Dr. Raman Singh Distributes ₹13.05 Lakh Financial Assistance to 30 Beneficiaries and Organizations in Rajnandgaon

Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh distributed financial assistance worth ₹13.05 lakh to 30 individuals and organizations during his visit to Rajnandgaon. The cheques were handed over at the Speaker House under various assistance initiatives aimed at supporting education, healthcare, accident relief, and community development.

Assistance for Education, Medical Treatment, and Social Causes

Among the beneficiaries were students, patients requiring critical medical treatment, families affected by accidental deaths, and organizations involved in social and community welfare activities.

The financial assistance included:

  • ₹25,000 to Chanchal Nirmalkar of Motipur for higher education.
  • ₹1 lakh to Mohammad Shamim Badguzar of Telipara for organizing a Muslim mass marriage programme.
  • ₹1 lakh to Govind Chinda of Kaurinbhantha for the installation of a Budha Dev idol.
  • ₹1 lakh to Aju Ram Sahu of Basantpur for treatment of a brain haemorrhage.

Relief for Families and Patients

Financial assistance was also provided to several beneficiaries for medical treatment and emergency relief, including:

  • ₹50,000 each to Saroj Nishad, Ishwar Das, and Panna Lal of Somni after the death of their dependents due to lightning strikes.
  • ₹50,000 to Sagar Soni for brain stroke treatment.
  • ₹50,000 to Churaman Mandavi for medical treatment.
  • ₹50,000 to Mansukh Das Sahu for cancer treatment.
  • ₹50,000 to Jiteshwar Prasad for surgery following an accident.
  • ₹50,000 each to Dolly Sahu, Shobha Devangan, Tikam Prajapati, Khemlal, and Teerakh Kumar for treatment of serious illnesses and accident-related injuries.

Support for Community Organizations

Community organizations also received financial support, including:

  • ₹50,000 to Jamman Devangan for Hanuman Janmotsav celebrations.
  • ₹40,000 to Nav Star Fan Nav Yuvak Mandal, Dhamansara, for purchasing utensils.
  • ₹30,000 to Shri Seva Samiti, Sahdev Nagar, for musical instruments.
  • ₹25,000 to Kundan Sahu for organizing a cricket tournament.

Additional Financial Assistance

Several other beneficiaries received assistance ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 for:

  • Heart disease treatment
  • Cancer care
  • Tuberculosis treatment
  • Child surgery
  • Accident-related medical expenses
  • Fire damage relief
  • Education support for children after the death of a parent
  • Platelet-related treatment
  • Financial assistance following accidental deaths

Welfare Support Continues

The Assembly Speaker reiterated the government’s commitment to extending timely assistance to economically weaker sections and individuals facing medical emergencies or other hardships. He said such support helps needy families overcome financial difficulties while ensuring access to healthcare, education, and community welfare initiatives.
