The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) successfully conducted the Subedar, Sub-Inspector Cadre and Platoon Commander (Preliminary) Examination 2024 at seven examination centres across Rajnandgaon district on Sunday.

District Collector Jitendra Yadav carried out surprise inspections at various examination centres to review the arrangements and ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.

Collector Reviews Examination Arrangements

During the inspection, the Collector examined several key aspects of the examination process, including:

  • Entry of candidates
  • Identity verification
  • Seating arrangements
  • Drinking water facilities
  • Electricity supply
  • Cleanliness and sanitation
  • Overall examination management

He instructed centre superintendents and officials deployed on examination duty to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission and ensure that the examination was conducted in a fair, transparent, and peaceful manner.

Strict Vigilance Against Irregularities

Collector Jitendra Yadav directed officials to maintain complete confidentiality throughout the examination process and keep strict vigilance against prohibited materials inside examination centres.

He also instructed authorities to take immediate action, as per the rules, if any irregularity or violation was detected during the examination.

The Collector emphasized that every officer should discharge their responsibilities with utmost vigilance and impartiality to ensure the smooth and credible conduct of the recruitment examination.

Examination Conducted at Seven Centres

According to the district administration, the CGPSC Subedar, Sub-Inspector Cadre and Platoon Commander (Preliminary) Examination 2024 was held at seven examination centres in Rajnandgaon district.

The examination was conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and all necessary logistical and administrative arrangements had been made in advance to facilitate its successful conduct.

Officials stated that the examination concluded peacefully without any major disruptions.
