कबीरधाम के भोरमदेव वन्यजीव अभयारण्य में उप मुख्यमंत्री विजय शर्मा ने 6 किलोमीटर लंबे भोरमदेव इको ट्रेल (तेंदुआ दादर इको ट्रेल) का उद्घाटन किया। यह नई इको-टूरिज्म पहल पर्यावरण संरक्षण, स्थानीय रोजगार और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम मानी जा रही है। वन महोत्सव के तहत पौधरोपण और सीड बॉल वितरण अभियान का भी शुभारंभ किया गया।

Rajnandgaon police commemorated the 17th anniversary of the 2009 Korkotti Naxal attack by paying tribute to 29 martyrs, including SP Vinod Kumar Choubey. The event included a blood donation camp, health check-up, and the felicitation of martyrs' families.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh distributed financial assistance worth ₹13.05 lakh to 30 beneficiaries and organizations in Rajnandgaon, supporting higher education, medical treatment, accident relief, and community welfare activities.

The CGPSC Subedar, Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander Preliminary Examination 2024 was conducted at seven centres in Rajnandgaon. Collector Jitendra Yadav inspected examination centres and directed officials to ensure a fair, transparent, and smooth examination process.
