Citizens Demand Fair Investigation and Strict Action, Set June 15 as Deadline for Administrative Response

Public Anger Grows Over Alleged Administrative Inaction
Public resentment in the Basantpur area is reportedly intensifying over allegations concerning an alleged “America connection” and other purported activities in the Kodikhana locality.
Local residents, who claim to have been seeking action in the matter for an extended period, have now decided to launch a public agitation. Citizens of the area have announced that they will begin an indefinite sit-in protest from June 15 and will continue their demonstration until their demands for a fair investigation and strict action are addressed.
Residents Claim Repeated Complaints Were Ignored
According to local residents, complaints regarding the alleged activities in the Kodikhana area have been submitted on several occasions to public representatives, administrative officials, and concerned departments.
However, residents allege that no concrete or effective action has been taken so far. They claim that this perceived lack of response has led to growing dissatisfaction and frustration among people in the locality.
Residents further stated that they had attempted to resolve the matter through democratic means and had pursued all available channels to bring attention to their concerns. They contend that their demands were not taken seriously, leaving them with no option but to resort to public protest.

Protest to Remain Peaceful
Citizens involved in organizing the agitation have clarified that the proposed protest will remain entirely peaceful.
They stated that the primary objective of the movement is to draw the administration’s attention to what they describe as a serious issue and to ensure that an impartial investigation is conducted. Protesters are demanding that if any individual’s involvement is established through investigation, strict action should be taken in accordance with the law.
Warning of Continued Agitation
Residents of Basantpur have warned that the protest will continue until the administration takes concrete steps and initiates effective action in the matter.
They have also appealed to socially conscious citizens, community organizations, and people from various sections of society to support what they describe as a matter of public interest.
Citizens Call It a Broader Social Concern
According to the residents, the issue extends beyond a single locality and concerns broader questions of social order and public welfare.
They believe that, considering the seriousness of the matter, the administration should intervene promptly and take necessary measures to address public concerns.
With the indefinite protest scheduled to begin on June 15, attention is now focused on the administration’s response and any action that may be taken in the coming days.
