Geeta Jayanti Celebrated with Devotional Fervour at Gayatri Vidyapeeth

Students from Classes 1 to 12 Participate in Shloka Recitation, Cultural Performances and Life-Value Sessions

The renowned educational institution Gayatri Vidyapeeth celebrated Geeta Jayanti with great devotion and cultural splendour on Monday. The programme was held in the morning prayer hall, where students from Classes 1 to 12 marked their enthusiastic presence. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by a collective recitation of sacred verses from the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.

Students presented captivating performances based on various chapters of the Gita, highlighting its timeless messages of duty, discipline, self-confidence and the path of Karma Yoga. These values were conveyed through speeches, quiz competitions and vibrant cultural presentations.

Addressing students from Classes 6 to 12, the chief speaker and Secretary of the Gayatri Shikshan Samiti, Shri Gagan Laddha, said that the Gita provides invaluable inspiration for life management and positive thinking. He encouraged students to adopt the ideals of the Gita in their daily lives through thought-provoking anecdotes and motivational examples.

School Principal Mrs. Shailja Nair extended her greetings on the occasion and stated that such celebrations strengthen cultural and moral values among students. “The Shrimad Bhagavad Gita teaches us the art of living. We must all strive to imbibe its teachings,” she remarked.

The event was graced by the presence of Gayatri Shikshan Samiti President Dr. Brijkishore Surjan, Vice President Mrs. Sandhyadevi Singhal, Mr. Rajesh Jain, Secretary Shri Gagan Laddha, Joint Secretary Nikunj Singhal, Treasurer Suryakant Chitlangya, Sports Director Sagar Chitlangya, Patrons Nandakishore Surjan and Mrs. Sushma Surjan, Cultural In-charge Harish Gandhi and Mrs. Rupali Gandhi, Academic Director Amit Uttalwar, Principal Mrs. Shailja Nair, Vice Principal Mrs. Rashmi Thakur, Administrator Anil Vajpayee, School Manager Taranjeet Singh Tuteja, School Observer Ankit Vyas and all teaching staff, who extended their best wishes.
